Do I own my website, or do you?
You do. The code, the design, the writing, the photos, and the domain are all yours. If you ever leave, you take the whole thing with you.
What ownership means in plain terms
Everything I build for you is yours the day it launches. There is no license, no rental, and nothing that stops working if we part ways. Some agencies keep the site on their account so you cannot leave. I do not do that.
The domain is in your name
Your domain gets registered under your name and your email, not mine. I can manage it for you on the monthly plan, but you hold the keys.
What happens if you cancel the monthly plan
The site still belongs to you. You would need somewhere to host it, and I will hand over the files and walk you or your next person through moving it. What you lose is me keeping it online, updated, and edited.
Why I do it this way
I want you to stay because the work is good and the site brings in calls, not because leaving is a hassle.
