Do I really need a website if I already have a Facebook page?
Facebook reaches people who already know you. A website is how people who have never heard of you find you on Google. You want both, and the website is the one you actually own.

A one-page site is usually live about a week after I have your info. A full site takes two to four weeks. What slows it down most is waiting on photos and answers from the owner.

You can, and for a hobby it is fine. For a business that needs calls from Google, builders tend to load slower and rank harder, and you still have to write and design the whole thing yourself.

It stays live until the new one is ready. On launch day I point your domain at the new site and the old one goes dark. No gap, no downtime.

Usually one of three things: giant uncompressed photos, a page builder loaded with plugins, or cheap shared hosting. All three are fixable, and I check for them in the free audit.

How do I get my business to show up on Google?
Three things: a Google Business Profile, which is free, a website that names your services and your town, and reviews. Set up right, a small business can start showing up in local searches within weeks.

Most often it is the profile: the wrong primary category, an unverified listing, or a service area that puts your pin in the wrong town. Sometimes a competitor just has a hundred reviews and you have three.

Local SEO is the work of showing up when someone near you searches for what you do. It is mostly your Google Business Profile, pages on your site for each service and town, consistent business info across the web, and reviews.

Ask every customer the same day the job wraps, by text, with the direct link. Then reply to every review. That is most of it. No buying, no filtering, no rewards, because Google removes those and can suspend the profile.

Local results usually start moving in one to three months. Competitive keywords take six or more. Anyone promising page one in two weeks is selling something.

Not to start. Ads bring calls the day you turn them on and stop the day you stop paying. A profile, a good site, and reviews keep working after the work is done. Ads make sense later, on top of that, if you want more volume.

A one-page site starts at $299 with me. A full site with pages for every service and town runs up to $3,500. After launch, a monthly plan from $99 covers hosting, your domain, and edits.
